Before the interview , usual steps as others have mentioned …
One extra bit – asked to go to a specific counter since its written in my passport that I had lost my previous one. An Indian lady asking wetehr it did have any US Visa or not ? Getting an answer in negative , she checking the passport and giving permission to go ahead with remainign steps .

3. Duration of travel ? 3 weeks
