USA Tourist and Business Visa Application Not Location Specific
As per the recent rules of US Embassy, Tourist and Business Visa Applications are no longer location specific. i.e. applicants can apply for B1, B2, B1/B2, H1, J, F and other visa categories from any embassy of their choice. The only exception to this rule is the L1B Visa category, Where the applicants have to apply from the location of the Head Office of the organisation.
However, Not all consulates process every kind of visa for example, Ahmedabad consulate does not process B1/B2 or Tourist Visas.
