Hi All,

I had B1 visa interview on 19th OCT. Thought of sharing my experience with you all.
First of all don’t feel nervous and tense. Go with a calm and cool mind. Whatever the VO asks reply to that only don’t elaborate the answers just give straight forward answers confidently.
Reach 2hrs before your appointment time to avoid last minute heart burns. There will be longs queues.
VO- Hello
Me- Hello Sir, Good Morning
VO-Good Morning, How are you.
Me – I am doing good thanks
VO- Why are you travelling to the US?
Me – I am going there for Requirement Study and Training on the Application
VO- How long?
Me – 4 Weeks Sir (don’t tell approximately or may be or probably or it may be extended. Always give exact period of the travel)
VO – What is your annual Compensation?
Me – XXXXXXXXX
VO – Do you have any close family or friends in the U.S?
Me – No Sir
VO – Do you have any brothers or Sisters? Where they are?
Me – I have one elder sister. She got married and she is staying with her husband in India Sir.
VO – Explained me about your application
Me- I explained briefly about my application.
VO – For how long are you employed with your current employer?
Me- 1 year 6 months Sir
VO- What is your highest qualification?
Me- MBA in finance Sir.
VO – Could you please show me you’re company’s ID CARD?
Me – I showed my ID card, the VO verified companies address on top of the ID card.
Finally sweet words form the VO: your VISA is approved.
