VM: Good Morning Ma’m !
Lady officer : Good Morning !
Lady officer (after taking his passport) : Why are you going to USA ?
VM : Well… working as a crew since last 10 years having my C1/D Visa renewed thrice, I have visited many countries, been to US only once. I would love to go to USA and explore the local attractions there before joining back to work on 27th March 2015. (As per AVS training)
Lady officer (who gave a smile and was constantly typing something on her
computer) : Which place exactly would you like to see ?
VM : New York city.
LO : Congratulations ! Your Visa has been approved.
AVS Comments:
During mock rounds with the client there was lack of confidence which ideally he should have having traveled so much and having active C1/D Visas. he spoke in broken sentences, extremely nervous and did not make an eye contact during the conversation. AVS capacity building helps gain confidence in answering questions during the US visitors visa interview.
